Breakfast in Bed Flatbread

Ideal for those cold, lazy mornings

Ingredients:
  • 1 bag of Beer Bread of your choice
  • 350g Plain Yogurt
  • 1 large Onion, caramelised
  • 3 boiled eggs
  • 2 tbs melted garlic butter
  • Chives to garnish

Method:

  1.  Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. Combine Beer Bread with yogurt and mix until a dough is formed.  Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 1 minute or until the surface of the dough is smooth.  Divide into 2 equal balls.
  3. Use a rolling pin to roll each dough ball out into a long oval shape to your desired thickness and place flatbreads on a baking sheet.  Poke the surface of the flatbread all over with a fork.
  4. Brush with garlic butter and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  5. Add the caramelised onion and the eggs and garnish with chopped chives.
